Alternative to Walks

The Club has decided to try a new arrangement for the Walks that we have held for a number of years, the numbers are now getting rather big and smaller groups would perhaps be better, although we do still plan to run the Spring walk in 2010.

The idea is that each Committee Member will try to organise a place in their area where they walk their dog(s) and then arrange a day and time to meet at the venue, anyone who wishes can join them for this walk and could even perhaps have lunch afterwards at a local hostelry!

The Webmaster will be informed when a walk is planned and he will put the details on the website – then anyone can go, there will be a contact number if you wish to make arrangements OR you can just turn up at the time mentioned and join the group. We hope that there will be a good take up for these walks.

Our Membership Secretary will attempt to send out details of local walks to those members that she has email contact for, but do not rely on this, use the Website if you are interested in attending.
