Bournmouth/New Forest Rally

 

 

New Venue

 

 

Another winter passes and thoughts turn to getting out and about. Why not join us at the rally  which will be held from Friday 10th August 2007 to Friday 17th August 2007 at the new venue not far from the previous site at Ocknell.

Directions:-          M27  westbound -  two options.

 

Option 1

            

              Just after the M27 becomes the dual carriageway A31, there is an option to turn right across the eastbound carriageway. This turn is marked “ Rufus Stone”.

 

N.B.

              If you miss this turning there are no other right turns until Ringwood (some 15-20 miles)

 

              As traffic can be extremely heavy on this road there is another option which will be safer but will take longer.

 

Option 2

             Leave M27 at Cadnam. On the exit roundabout take the road marked Brook and Ocknell. At Brook, the Green Dragon pub will be on your left and just after the pub the road bends to the right. Take the road ahead and not the the road bending right. After about 1 mile, there is a left hand turn marked Ocknell . Take this and continue to Ocknell and the A31. Turn left onto the eastbound A31 and then first left to Rufus Stone.  The Sir Walter Tyrrell Pub is on the right just past Rufus Stone.

The Rally Cold Supper will be held on Saturday 11th August and this year we are holding a Murder Mystery on that afternoon/evening.

This is a new venture and those who wish to take part (all of you I hope)! Must let me know by beginning of June so that your character can be allocated aand details sent to you.   Should be fun- so don’t be shy!!
