Our Spring Walk this year will be held on

Sunday May 1st 2011

at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park,

Gravel Hill, Horndean PO8 0QE

 

The site has its own sliproads on both the North and South bound

carriageways, of the A3.  Follow the brown and white tourist board signs.

 

We will meet with George Isherwood (our ’leader’) at the Visitor Centre Cafe ready to begin the walk at 2pm.

We will be taking the ‘Long woodland trail’ which is around 5 miles in length.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Make sure you have suitable footwear and weatherproof coats etc in case of inclement weather, as last year -see photo above!

 

There is a charge for the Car Park of £1.50.

 

EVERYONE  AND THEIR DOG IS WELCOME EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT WELSHIES OR IF YOU PREFER TO WALK WITHOUT A CANINE COMPANION.
