PLEASE NOTE

The SEWSSC and Mr J Tobutt accept no responsibility for any person or dog attending this event. Cars are parked at owners risk.

 

MEET: Broomfield Farm - follow SEWSSC signs to parking area.

PUPPY : Commence at 9.30am

Open to all dogs aged 6mths to 2 years on the day of the test. Test will include obedience, hunting and simple retrieving.

SPECIAL BEGINNERS: Training sessions starting at 9.30 – Progress by dogs/handlers to be assessed during session  on the day (Neither handler or dog have previously won any award in a test)

JUNIOR HANDLING : to follow Special Beginners after training session / assessment

For handlers under 18 years of age on the day of the assessment

NOVICE: Commence 9.30

Open to all dogs who have not won any award at a Field Trial OR any place in Open test or assessment or 1st place in a Novice test or assessment. Test will include obedience, hunting and retrieving.

OPEN: pm

Open to all spaniels (excepting ESS and Cockers). Dogs will be tested for all requirements of good spaniel work and may be worked in pairs.

 

Dummies will be used in all tests and must be of green canvas or natural fur covered (no white). Retrieves may be heralded by shot.

Rosettes              1st- 4th in each test. Overall Best in tests

                       Specials for best dog in Puppy and Novice who has not

                                      previously  been placed in a test.

                                      

ALL DOGS TO BE ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES, EXCEPT WHEN UNDER THE JUDGE  OR ALLOWED BY THE ORGANISERS. NO BITCHES IN SEASON WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE GROUND

DIRECTIONS

FROM SW: M25, M26 J2A (signposted Wrotham M20 Gravesend A227). Follow signs A20 Brands Hatch for 2 roundabouts. At 3rd roundabout follow signs for A227 Gravesend. Follow for 4 miles through Culverstone. Just before windmill in Meopham turn left into Ifield Road. Broomfield Farm is the 1st entrance on right. Follow our signs down track through yard to parking area.

 

FROM SE: M20 and briefly M26 to J2A, go under motorway and follow directions as above.

 

FROM N: Leave M25 at J2 (A2) follow signs for Rochester and Dover, look for A227 to Wrotham and Meopham Green, which is just after Safeway Superstore on your left. Follow road through Meopham and just after windmill turn right into Ifield Road.

 

 

We have the use of much of this land, BUT there are public footpaths and bridleways in the area, so beware of walkers and horses!

 

 

Please be considerate and take your rubbish home leaving the venue as we find it.
