| My thanks to the officers
and committee of the SEWSSC for their kind invitation to judge and to
the exhibitors for their splendid entry. All dogs were well presented
and all had good mouths. Temperament was excellent throughout. Movement
however was variable, and definitely erratic in some of the otherwise
good young bitches. A few of the young dogs had gay tails which does detract
from the overall picture. Minor Puppy Dog - 4 - none absent. 1st Campbell’s Hillpark Gold Mascot – Caught the eye straight away, balanced with pleasing head and expression, deep through chest, showing the desired gentle rise over the loins. Good straight bone. 2nd. Tully’s Highclare Ludo – Slightly taller on leg and somewhat lighter at present. However has a good framework to grow into. Good head, expression and length of neck. 3rd Beadle’s Gydamist Grenadier Puppy Dog – 2 – none absent 1st Robinson’s Fiergen Silver Dollar – Masculine head, good dark eye, looked well put together standing but movement somewhat erratic which I am sure will improve as he gets a little older. 2nd Crockford;s Phentina Blue Spinmaker – very different in type to above. Less pleasing in expression due to a more prominent eye. Good through body and good straight bone however another one with erratic movement.
1st Duncan’s Redfrith Chianti – elegant dog, loved his head and good dark eyes. Good length of neck and correct topline. Compact body and powerful hindquarters. 2nd Morgan’s Menstonia Meditating with Amiro, just out of puppy and coming along the right lines. make and shape. 3rd Menstonia Meditating With Amiro
1st Smith’s Hillpark Ruskin. Mature looking dog in good coat and condition. However his overall outline was spoilt by a very gay tail and he was somewhat wide in front movement. 2nd Parkmist Master Plan 3rd Gydamist Garfield
1st Wren’s Norlington Nutcracker at Gwynmarren Two year old who is taking his time to mature, however he is balanced with pleasing head and expression.
